Club Facilities

     The Lawton-Fort Sill Rifle and Pistol Club controls and operates the range facilities, "Paradise Valley Ranges," (aka PVR), located in Comanche County.

PVR Rifle Range

     The Lawton-Fort Sill Rifle and Pistol Club has a 100 yard range with a covered firing line and six shooting stations.

PVR Days and Hours of Operation

     The Paradise Valley Range (PVR) is open for use by club members at the following dates and times PROVIDED an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer is present.

     October through March
     The second Saturday of each month from noon to 4:00 pm
     The third Saturday of each month from noon to 4:00 pm
     The fourth Saturday of each month from noon to 4:00 pm

     April through September
     The second Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to noon
     The third Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to noon
     The fourth Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to noon


Pistol Range

     "Dirt work" has been completed for a private pistol range located to the west of the club's rifle range. It will be used by the Mount Scott Gun Club for rifle and pistol instruction, as well as providing a practice range for Steel Challenge and Cowboy Action shooters.

Trap and Skeet Range

     A trap and Skeet range is planned for the southwest corner of PVR. (The pad for the trap and skeet range will be in the far right in this photograph.

Mount Scott Community Building

     For classroom instruction, the Mount Scott Gun Club rents the Mount Scott Community Building located at 12484 NW McClung Road.

Ann's Country Kitchen

     For breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Ann's Country Kitchen is less than three miles from the PVR ranges. The food is excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is good. Ann's is closed on Tuesdays.

     The PVR ranges may be easily reached over hard-surface all-weather roads.
     If you are coming north from Lawton on Highway 281/62, continue north to Porter Hill. At Porter Hlll, turn left (west) onto the Meers-Porter Hill Road. Drive west on the Meers-Porter Hill Road to McClung Road. Turn right (north) onto McClung Road. Drive 1.75 miles north on McClung Road. As you crest a small hill, the entrance to PVR will be on your right.
     If you are coming north from Medicine Park on Highway 58, turn right (east) onto the Meers-Porter Hill Road. Drive east one mile. Turn left (north) onto McClung Road. Drive 1.75 miles north on McClung Road. As you crest a small hill, the entrance to PVR will be on your right.
     If you are coming west from Elgin on Highway 17, go straight through Porter Hill onto the Meers-Porter Hill Road. Drive west on the Meers-Porter Hill Road to McClung Road. Turn right (north) onto McClung Road. Drive 1.75 miles north on McClung Road. As you crest a small hill, the entrance to PVR will be on your right.
     If you are coming south from Anadarko on HIghway 281/62, continue through Apache to Porter Hill. At Porter Hill, turn right (west) onto the Meers-Porter Hill Road. Drive west on the Meers-Porter Hill Road to McClung Road. Turn right (north) onto McClung Road. Drive 1.75 miles north on McClung Road. As you crest a small hill, the entrance to PVR will be on your right.
